Maritime Countryfest organizers are pleased to once again be presenting Fredericton with great country music artists from around the Maritimes and abroad. 2010 festival plans are already well underway. After the success of the 2009 festival, organizers are excited to be planning for a new year. They are hopefully that sponsorship and attendance will continue to grow in the coming year.
Maritime Countryfest, now in its fifth year, is held with the mission of providing an opportunity for emerging and established, local and regional country music artists to be able to share a venue and stage with national and international performers.
"Our goal is to create a festival that is extremely entertaining for the fans, provides a wide variety of styles and gives local artists exposure to larger and appreciative audiences." said Tom Hoyt, Festival Chair. "Also, our aim is to keep this event very affordable for everyone."
